tai joined west coast in august 1999 and his background includes property development, construction, and many years of managing his family’s and friend's portfolio of properties. He developed, amongst other things: single family homes in brisbane, townhomes in saratoga, and condominiums in the communications hill area of san jose. Recognizing tai's commitment to excellence, he was promoted to the position of senior property manager in december, 2006.
Tai, born over-seas but raised in san francisco, is a father of two grown girls. When time allows, he likes to take the family skiing and camping. He enjoys playing with his sharp japanese knives as he cuts, slices, and chops in the kitchen. Although pet friendly, he has never had much luck keeping any for a prolonged period of time - the dog ran away as a puppy, the rabbit was unfortunately mauled by wild animals, turtles have been picked off by hawks, and fish jump out of the tank (twice).
Besides being a licensed real estate sales-person and a member of the professional property management association, tai is also fluent in mandarin, is a licensed general contractor and is a graduate from the university of texas at austin school of civil engineering. Although a secret long horn fan, he no longer wears cowboy boots and stetson hats.
We are proud and honored that tai was recognized as the property manager of the year winner at the 2007 san francisco apartment association trophy awards!
